Empower Adventures Safety Advice
At Empower Adventures, safety is our number one priority. While we love the thrills and excitement that come from our zip line courses, aerial adventure park, and paddleboard tours, we work tirelessly to ensure that every person who comes to our adventure park in Tampa Bay experiences our activities safely. In our efforts to provide a safe and exciting environment for our customers, the staff at Empower Adventures has a few guidelines for our customers. If you follow these rules, you will be sure to have an enjoyable time.
Wear the Proper Apparel
Clothing choice is an important safety aspect for our customers at Empower Adventures. We recommend that people dress comfortably and casually, wearing breathable fabrics that are not too tight or too loose. We ask that all customers with longer hair secure their hair back in a ponytail or bun. This helps you to be able to fully enjoy the view on our zip line and significantly reduces the chance of your hair getting stuck in the equipment.
Proper footwear is also important at Empower Adventures. You’ll be walking around outside as well as climbing up and down stairs and ladders in our aerial adventure park and tree top adventures. We recommend comfortable and sturdy shoes like tennis shoes or sneakers to keep your feet safe as you enjoy your escapades at Empower.
Follow the Rules
Our expert staff will go over all of the rules and regulations before you take part in any of the activities at our adventure park. We create and enforce these rules for a reason. We ask that all of our customers listen to and follow all directions given by our staff to ensure a safe experience for everyone participating in the activities. Failure to follow the rules can result in injury to both customers and staff and can cause damage to the equipment. Empower Adventures Tampa Bay reserves the right to remove any person who does not abide by these rules.
Stay Hydrated
Empower Adventures is an outdoor facility. With all of the fun and excitement of our zip line courses, aerial adventure park, and more, it can sometimes be easy to forget the need to stay hydrated until you start to feel faint. We recommend regularly drinking water throughout the day to stay alert and focused throughout your time at our facility. This will help you avoid heatstroke and heat sickness.
