On select weekends from October to May, Empower Adventures Tampa Bay will take groups on moonlight canopy tours. You’ll soar 70 feet above the ground starting at dusk and going for about two hours.

Why Moonlight Canopy Tours Are Special

Our tours give you a whole new experience of the Tampa Bay area from 70 feet off the ground. Traverse our 200-foot bridge, soar across five zip lines covering 2,000 feet, and feel the wind in your face as you accelerate off the tower!
Tour Requirements
Reservations are required for moonlight canopy tours at Empower Adventures Tampa Bay. All participants must be 7 years old and older, weigh between 70 and 270 pounds, and sign our waiver (parents can sign the waiver for their kids).
Bring your sense of adventure and wonderment, too! Our professional zipline tour guides will make this an experience to remember.

When do these moonlight canopy tours happen?
They typically happen on Friday and Saturday nights. At the end of December, we’ll run every night from Dec. 26 to Dec. 30. They start promptly at 7:30 p.m. Space is limited, so reserve your times now!
What You’ll See
You’ll see plenty of stars, for sure. On most nights you’ll see the moon (unless it’s a new moon). Nighttime creatures that come out of the Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve include moths and other flying insects, and maybe some bats that chase after them for food. You probably won’t hear them, but keep an eye out for an owl. If you hear a shrill cry of a bird, that could be a killdeer. Raccoons and possums may scurry about on the ground of our nature preserve.
