Empower Adventures Tampa Bay is back! Despite the challenges facing our beautiful state due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are open and following guidelines as set forth by the CDC, and national, state, and local policymakers. In today’s blog from Empower Adventures Tampa Bay, we outline how we’re keeping you safe amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic here in Florida.
Reservations Required
Reservations are required for all activities at our adventure park, whether you’re here for a zip line adventure or challenging our aerial obstacles. Due to high demand and limited availability, we recommend you reserve your spot at least one week in advance. Use our online reservations portal to see available times.
Tour Size Limitations
We have limited our tour sizes to a maximum of six people and two parties. This is due to several regulations that stipulate limits of 10 people in a single group gathering, even outdoors. Because tours include two members of our staff, Empower Adventures Tampa Bay will only accommodate up to six people per tour at this time until the guidelines change.
Face Coverings Required
All guests are required to wear a face covering or a mask during their adventure. Our staff will wear face coverings, too. We realize our facility is outdoors, but some phases of the tours require people to come within 6 feet of our Adventure Guides. Face coverings have been shown to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and are an effective way to keep you safe from this virus.
Temperature Checks
We will be performing temperature checks on all guests prior to their adventure. All of our Adventure Guides (employees at Empower Adventures Tampa Bay) will undergo temperature checks before their shifts. If anyone has a temperature of 100°F, we cannot permit those people to adventure with us.
Check-In Process
Our check-in process is completely touchless and contactless, including the temperature check. Please be sure to read our updated waiver thoroughly and complete the waiver in advance before coming to our adventure park.
Social Distancing
While on the ground, all guests must maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet apart from each other. In the air, this will be impossible as our staff must ensure your safety as you’re on platforms and in between zip line runs. However, close proximity will be minimal and only so as to protect your physical safety per our operational guidelines.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule due to illness, our team can help you move your adventure to another date that works on your schedule. Keep in mind that weekends fill up fast. Another thing to remember is that the CDC recommends sick people quarantine themselves for 14 days to ensure they aren’t infectious to others. Although it may be inconvenient, the staff at Empower Adventures Tampa Bay will put the safety of everyone first when rescheduling your aerial adventure. We want you to have fun but also to be safe!
