1. Zip Lining

Zip lining is one of the best adrenaline rushes on earth. 4. Hang Gliding

Although not as common as the first three, hang gliding is just as extreme! This sport straps you into a large kite-like plane as you glide thousands of feet above the ground, dodging natural obstacles like mountains. Hang gliding can be compared to parasailing; however, with hang gliding, you can set your own course since you are propelled by gravity and the wind! On average, they fly anywhere between 22 – 81 mph, giving you the perfect balance of relaxation and adrenaline. 

5. Whitewater Rafting

Whitewater rafting is one of the most common extreme sports. There are several classifications of whitewater rafting, ranging from calm to dangerous. Once you get to Class 5 and 6, the waters become virtually impossible to navigate without complete mastery of the sport. There are large rock hazards, massive drops, and fast speeds, that’s why whitewater rafting belongs in the top five extreme sports you need to try in your lifetime!
