About 90 minutes from start to finish.  You should also plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour.

Our Paddle Board Adventures will launch from Mobbly Bayou in Oldsmar, and take you through the waters of Upper Tampa Bay.

Yes, all of our adventures require a reservation.  You can book online or call us at (813) 448-5635 to make a reservation.

We recommend that you wear clothing that can get wet. While most of our adventurers stay dry, there is a chance you will get wet. Dryfit type shirts work best, bottoms can be bathing suits, running shorts, yoga pants, etc. Water shoes are recommended. We advise that eyewear (like sunglasses) should have a retaining strap or string if they are prescription or expensive glasses

That’s okay! All of our Paddle Board Adventures start with a brief, but thorough, tutorial on how to paddle on with us! We’ll teach you the basics of how to stand on the board, the best way to paddle, and how you can navigate through the waters of Upper Tampa Bay with us. We have many beginners join us for our Paddle Board Adventures to find themselves confidently paddling in no time!

Please bring water with you, it’s essential to stay hydrated! It’s a great idea to bring a snack for energy. Sunscreen, sunglasses, water shoes, and a hat are recommended. Phones or cameras can be brought along at your own risk but need to be in a waterproof case with a float attached. We also recommend that you bring a towel & a spare change of dry clothes to leave it in your car until done. We have dry storage available for car keys.

Nope! We provide the board or kayak, paddle, and required USCG approved life jacket, which remains on the board unless you prefer to wear it.

As all of our Adventures are part of the Florida ecosystem, you will see a variety of wildlife during your time with us. Marine birds, like egrets, pelicans, and herons are common, as well as osprey and sometimes, a bald eagle can be spotted. There is a wide variety of wildlife that call the waters of Upper Tampa Bay home, so you’ll never know what you might encounter!

You can pay by cash or credit card.  Payment is required in advance for all reservations.  You may stop by our office to pay cash in advance.  The office is located at 423 Lafayette Blvd, at our Zip Line Adventure location.

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued. If necessary, guests may reschedule their adventure reservation one time.

Our guides are professionally trained to ensure that you have an educational, enjoyable, and memorable experience. The tipping guideline is the industry standard of $5-$10 per person per guide.

Children 12 and older may be able to handle their own board, but all children are different.

Our Adventure Guides and team monitor weather reports and lightning strikes in real time to ensure the safety of our adventuring guests. If weather is expected to interfere with a standing reservation or tour, an Empower Adventures representative will contact you at the number you provide to us when booking with an update regarding your reservation. In the event of unexpected approaching lightning or stormy weather during a tour, we ensure that we will get our guests to safety as quickly as possible.

While we do provide a USCG approved life jacket, participants are required to be able to swim.

While it is a possibility that you may fall in the water, but not as many people fall as you think!  And, if you do fall in, we’ll help you get right back up and paddling quickly!
